For generations, cooking has been central to my family's traditions. Inspired by my grandmother and mother, I began my own culinary journey, leading to the creation of Dee's Peas and Beans. Tired of the same dishes at family gatherings, I experimented with black-eyed peas and found a new passion.

On November 28, 2018, I introduced Dee's Peas and Beans at an employee craft show, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response. This experience taught me the importance of my passion project and the intricacies of running a business while staying true to my mission—bringing hope into daily lives.

Dee’s Peas and Beans offers a variety of ready-to-serve cooked peas and beans, using locally sourced fresh herbs, spices, and meats from Minnesota farmers. This commitment to local ingredients ensures both freshness and support for local agriculture, creating wholesome and flavorful meals.

In an ideal world, I'd spend my days crafting these dishes and, in the evenings, extend warmth to those in need with a comforting bowl of peas or beans and the aroma of cornbread. Our smallest acts of kindness can make a significant difference in the lives of others.
